Using ChatGPT + AI for Freelancing and Building Websites

In this article, I’m going to walk you through how you can use ChatGPT and AI art for freelancing and to make websites without using any code.

Creating Images Using AI

For this, we’re using MidJourney.com

Join the Beta (it’s a Discord community)

Now, let’s create our images:

Go to a #newbies channel
Type a new message with the prompt: /imagine and hit Tab
Then describe the image you want and hit Enter

Example:

red classic car, side front angle view, convertible, ui/ux, wallpaper, yellow background –s 1000

–s 1000 means a better style (or higher quality image).

And then we get this output which we can edit further if needed:

Generating Content with ChatGPT

We can type this in to ChatGPT:

Create the text for a website selling classic car rentals in manhattan for a hero title, short hero paragraph text, call to action and 2 selling point for a features section.

For SEO text, we can type this in:

Create an SEO title in under 70 characters and an SEO meta description in under 150 characters.

Building The Website Using NoCode

For this, I use Editor X (my favourite web building platform).

The SEO text ChatGPT provides is impressive.

Examples:

Write me an SEO title for a car dealership selling classic cars in manhattan under 70 characters
Write me an SEO meta description in less than 150 characters
Write me 5 short tail and 10 long tail keywords to rank for
Write me 3 H1 tag headings I can use for the home page

Code

ChatGPT can write or rewrite you code (probably better than you can, but definitely much faster).

Examples:

Write me the HTML and CSS for 3 testimonials in 3 cards and include a picture for each person
Code me a landing page for an injury lawyer with a navbar, logo, and footer

Not good at writing ad copy? Use ChatGPT for that.

Examples:

Write me an ad for a facebook post for an accounting business with the benefit of saving tax
Write me a linkedin ad for a dentist to book an appointment for teeth whitening and make it funny

Website Content

It’s no surprise by now that you can use it to write content for your website.

Examples:

Write me a hero title for a dentist in cape town
Now write me a short tagline
Now write me a short paragraph
Now write me call to action in less than 5 words

Say goodbye to Lorem ipsum text 🙂

Blog Articles

I’m a big fan of writing blog articles for clients as it helps their website credibility and it’s good for SEO.

But I’m not writing it and there’s no reason to outsource it either.

Let’s use ChatGPT to write a blog article for us:

Write me a blog article for a furniture store in london selling leather couches and explain the types of leather with a call to action to buy furniture at ABC Leather Couches

Proposals

If you don’t have a template, you can type the description into ChatGPT like this:

Write me a short proposal for a client lead offering website design services for $5,000. Explain how it will help their business grow and why they should work with me

If you’re looking for a way to create proposals, send a URL to a client to digitally sign, use ClientManager.io - You can send unlimited proposals + work with unlimited clients and a lot more.

Cold Emails

There are many ways to reach out to prospective clients, but most emails suck. ChatGPT can help us write much better emails:

Write me a cold email to a qualified lead pitching website design and marketing services with a call to action to schedule a call with me.

Social Media Posts

Whether it’s for your own personal brand, agency or clients, social media management requires text content.

That can be for Facebook posts, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and more.

Write me a tweet sharing a website tip that will be helpful for business owners.
Write me a linkedin post for a lawyer explaining how GDPR works in less than 300 characters.

Strategy Planning

You might think ChatGPT could only write these types of output and it can’t strategize, but you’d be wrong.

Let’s say I wanted to grow my freelance web design agency this year:

I want to grow my freelance web design agency this year. Give me 10 ideas I could do to get clients that will cost me less than $1,000.

Client Communication

You might think ChatGPT could only write these types of output and it can’t strategize, but you’d be wrong.

Missed a deadline or client is late on payment?

I’m building a website for a client, but I missed the deadline. Write me an email to apologize and let him know the website will be ready in 3 working days.
My client is late on payment and I need them to pay as soon as possible. Write me a professional email asking for payment, but also explaining it’s urgent.
